Manuscript received 24 June 1976 ; accepted 9 July 1976 Salts of arylarsonic acids with manganese(II), iron(II) and zinc(II) having general formula : (X.C6H4AsO8)\(m\) M nH2O, have been prepared. Here, when M=Mn (II) M=1 and n=0, 0.5 or 1; when M= Fe(III), m=1.5 and n=3 or 4 and when M=Zn(II), m=1 and n= 0, 0.5 or 2 and X= H, \(p\)-CH3 \(p\)-Cl \(p\)-Br, \(p\)-OCH3, \(o\)-OCH3, \(o\)-COOH or \(o\)-NO2.
