Analisis Minat Dan Bakat Olahraga Berbasis Kearifan Lokal di Kabupaten Banyuwangi

Banyuwangi Regency has several kinds of tribes including Javanese, Osing and Madura. When viewed from differences in residence and different geographical locations, it has the potential to produce potential athletes with varied interests and talents based on each tribe. The purpose of this study was to identify sports interests and talents in elementary school students based on several tribes in Banyuwangi. This type of research is a survey research with a quantitative descriptive design and the total sample of 90 students representing the population of all elementary school students in Banyuwangi. The age range of 11-14 years, has a background of Javanese, Madurese and Osing. The process of collecting data using a questionnaire method and scouting measurement tests sport search talent. The results showed that Javanese children have the potential to run fast with 14 children (46.6%), Madurese have high jump potential with 12 children (40%) and osing has the potential to hurdles with a total of 12 children (40%). The results of the number of children and the percentage represent 30 respondents for each tribe. While the data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires in 30 samples in each of these tribes, showed interest in the Javanese, Madurese and Osing tribes was more dominant in soccer with the number of children and the following percentages: Javanese 18 children (60%) , Madurese 12 children (40%) and 13 children (43.3%) osing
