The role of investments in the development of the agricultural production complex

The subject of the research is the role of investments in the development of the agro–industrial complex of Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of investments on the development of the agro– industrial complex and identify factors that promote investment in the agricultural sector. Research methods. The study employed scientific research methods such as analysis and synthesis to determine the current state of the development of Ukraine’s agro–industrial complex, economic and statistical methods to construct and analyze the trend of investment inflows into the Ukrainian agricultural sector, and data aggregation. Research results. The article discusses the state of Ukraine’s agro–industrial complex. The trend of investment inflows into the agricultural sector is analyzed, and the factors influencing the investment attractiveness of the agricultural sector are identified. The ways to increase investment activity in the agricultural sector of Ukraine are determined. Conclusions. The agro–industrial complex is an important sector of the national economy of Ukraine that ensures economic growth, competitiveness, and integration into the global economic space. Attracting more investment is an effective method for developing agriculture in Ukraine, but the actual level of investment does not meet the needs. To address this issue, comprehensive measures such as creating a favorable investment climate, improving infrastructure, research and development, and strengthening the institutional base are necessary. Implementing these measures will help activate investment activity in the agricultural sector, increase productivity and profitability of this industry
