Opportunities and localization of development of social enterprise in Ukraine

The subject of the study – social entrepreneurship as one of the new hybrid organizational forms that involves the use of business methods to address a variety of social issues. The purpose of the study is search for new innovative and commercial approaches to solving social issues. Research methods. In the work the general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge were used: system analysis and synthesis, deductive and inductive methods, analogical methods, generalization and comparison, tabular method. The results of the work. Justified and used criteria that allow a clear definition and separation of social entrepreneurship from traditional business. The types of social enterprises are analyzed according to the organizational-legal form, regional arrangement, branch affiliation, social purpose. The ways of ensuring the sustainable development of social enterprises and the sequence of stages of evaluation of the effectiveness of the results of their activities are proposed. Conclusions. The presence of a large number of social problems and vulnerable groups in Ukraine makes it necessary to seek new and innovative approaches to their solution. The use of commercial approaches in the social sphere is a global trend that has proven to be positive in many countries, taking into account financial sustainability and a significant social impact. A social enterprise differs from other enterprises by the fact that for it the social effect is a purposeful result, and not a by-product of activity. Social goals are enshrined in the charter and are mandatory. Profit from commercial activities is allocated to the realization of social goals. An assessment of the social and economic impact is a factor in the development of social entrepreneurship and the involvement of donors and investors. Popularization of social entrepreneurship will help to overcome the paternalistic perception of social problems in society
