Mobile ropeways, the equipment of which is located on the base chassis of wheeled or tracked vehicles of high carrying capacity, are a promising type of transport and overloading equipment. Specific design features, modes and conditions of their operation in comparison with traditional freight and passenger fixed-line cableways require the development of special design methods and design calculations for this type of machine.
