Rhenium chemistry of pyridyldiazoles oxorhenium(V) and imidorhenium(V) species

Structure determination has revealed meridional geometry, oxo/imido triple bonding and aromatic lattice interactions. The chelates display a relatively weak ligand field band in the visible region and a quasireversible ReVI/ReV cyclic voltammetric response
