With the increasing complexity of therapeutics, an ageing population and rising multimorbidity, it is worth emphasizing the importance of pharmacovigilance and rationale pharmacotherapy. Case report: A case report of an elderly female suffering from iatrogenic bicytopenia, which is likely associated with the chronic use of rosuvastatin and valsartan, is presented in this article.
