For remote or localised places, a microgrid can provide electrical power through a combination of distributed generation and local loads. One of the most recent developments in Egypt is the integration of microgrids with the power grid. Power quality issues such as voltage drops, growing usage of distributed generation, deep energy, and power loss can be solved by integrating smart microgrids and utility systems.
