The development of coronary heart disease (IHD) is associated with increased iron stores in the body. The incidence of coronary artery disease (CHD) in pre-menopausal women was associated with lower body iron stores in the first group compared to men of the same age and postmenopausal women. Aim: To compare serum ferritin in healthy individuals and patients with Ischemic heart disease.
