Abstract This research paper aims to provide a thorough and up-to-date examination of the environmental impact of electric vehicles (EVs) on our ecosystem. With the growing concern over climate change and the urgent need to transition to sustainable transportation alternatives, it is crucial to understand the potential benefits and drawbacks of EV adoption. The study is grounded in environmental science and transportation sustainability, drawing on various theoretical models and empirical studies related to EVs' impact on air quality, greenhouse gas emissions, resource consumption, and ecological balance. This review research paper employs a comprehensive and systematic literature review approach.
