Disinfection in hospital practice is mainly achieved either by surface disinfection or immersing the contaminated objects in the disinfectant solution. This study was undertaken for assessing the efficacy of commonly used disinfectants in a tertiary care teaching hospital against Multi Drug Resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolate, and to evaluate the different methods of testing of disinfectants like Rideal-Walker Test, Chick-Martin Test, Kelsey-Sykes Test, Surface Disinfection Test and In-Use Test.
