#MeToo Movement: A Precursor of Change?

Abstract: Worldwide reverberations of the #MeToo movement motivated public debates and academic research on the impact of the movement on people, survivors and workplaces. The movement opened a Pandora’s box of allegations of workplace sexual misconduct from women who suddenly found strength in the choice of remaining anonymous, giving them enough courage to come forward and share their ordeal. This article deliberates upon the movement and how it panned out in India, further discussing if there has been any policy level impact on the organizations post the movement.
