Anthomyia imbrida Rondani, 1866 ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1866a: 144 (key), 148 (description). TYPE LOCALITY: Rondani gave no type locality in his original description but presumably it is Italy because the work deals with Italian species. PARALECTOTYPES EXAMINED: 3 ♂♂ (MZUF: Box 25): Anthomyia Mgn / imbrida Rnd., ♂, Parma / 1368 / ♂ / paralectotype ♂, Anthomyia imbrida Rond., 1866, desig. V. Michelsen, 1978; 1 ♀ (MZUF: Box 25): Anthomyia Mgn / imbrida Rnd., ♀, Parma / 1368 / ♀ / paralectotype ♀, Anthomyia imbrida Rond., 1866, desig. V. Rondani, scatola n° 6, posiz. E-9 / Museo di Storia Naturale Università di Pisa, Calci (PI) ex collezione Rondani. CURRENT STATUS: valid species (Dely-Draskovits 1993: 21, Gorodkov et al. 1995: 5). REMARKS: Rondani (1866a: 148) described both sexes of Anthomyia imbrida from an unspecified number of specimens. Michelsen (1980a: 283) designated a lectotype (♂) and paralectotypes (2 ♂♂, 1 ♀) without mentioning a fourth male, but labeling all of them as paralectotypes. We are unable to single out the two males designated as paralectotypes by Michelsen and consider the three males as paralectotypes.
