Hydrometra williamsi Hungerford & Evans, 1934 (Fig. 5) Description. Micropterous female. Head wider near anterior and posterior ends; dorsally covered by several black denticles, dark brown, becoming lighter brown anteriorly and posteriorly (Fig. 5a); ventrally without denticles, black, dark brown anteriorly. Clypeus shining, brown, almost as broad at base as long at midline; anterior margin pointed in middle (Fig. 5b). Eyes bright, reddish brown. Dorsal interocular groove very shallow, shorter than eyes; ventral interocular groove deep, shorter than eyes. Bucculae yellow; labium brown; bucculae rounded, covering base of labium; labium reaching middle of eyes. Antennomere I yellow at base, dark brown towards apex, with many shining setae from middle to the apex; antennomeres II–IV missing. Pronotum yellowish brown. Anterior lobe covered by a few randomly distributed black denticles; posterior lobe with randomly distributed shallow pits and a few black denticles. Pleural region of thorax yellowish brown, with longitudinal pale line extending entire length of body from prothorax to gonocoxa; this line much broader on abdomen than on thorax (Figs. 5 c–d). Venter of thorax dark brown to black, darker than abdomen, with a few randomly distributed shining setae. Propleuron with 6 circular pits. All acetabula concolorous with rest of thorax; proacetabulum with 3 pits anterior to cleft and 3 posterior to it; mesoacetabulum with one pit anterior to cleft and 5 posterior to it; metacetabulum with 10 pits. Wings dark brown with light yellow edges, veins not visible, reaching middle of thorax. Legs brown, long, thin, with a few scattered short setae on tibiae. Coxae and trochanters pale yellow. Abdominal mediotergites I–VI shining, brown, glabrous, without denticles; VII dull, covered by shining setae and very a few black denticles, with longer setae on posterior margin interrupted in middle. Abdominal laterotergites yellow with brown lateral margin, slightly elevated. Side of abdomen with longitudinal darker brown stripe running below longitudinal pale line, and white marks on anterior portion of each segment below laterotergites. Abdominal sternum II blackish; III–VII brown, becoming yellowish posteriorly, with very a few black denticles. Dorsum of abdominal segment VIII with many shining setae, these longer near anterior margin, ending in a dark brown, decurved, long, spine-like projection. Gonocoxa with long shining setae. Pygophore concolorous with abdomen, with rounded apex. Material examined. micropterous ♀: Colombia, Meta, Puerto Gaitán, Hacienda Yamato, 4°31'29.8''N 71°48'2.8''W, 20.iv.1996, D. Forero col. (IAvH-E 87964). Distribution. Colombia: Cesar (Aristizábal 2017), Meta (this work) (Fig. 8), Sucre (Aristizábal 2017). Ecuador: Napo (Hungerford & Evans 1934), Orellana (Buzzetti & Cianferoni 2011). Notes.
