Sciurus gilvigularis Wagner, 1842. Arch. Naturgesch., 2:43. TYPE LOCALITY: Brazil, Borba, Rio Madeira. DISTRIBUTION: N Brazil, Guyana, Venezuela. SYNONYMS: gilviventris Pelzeln, 1883; paraensis Goeldi and Hagmann, 1904. COMMENTS: Subgenus Guerlinguetus; see Avila-Pires (1964).
