Centaurea iconica Huber-Morath (1967: 317). Type:— TURKEY. Prov. Konya: Distr. Konya, Konya-Beysehir, Felsen und steinige Orte 25 km W von Konya, 5 June 1937, Reese s.n. (holotype G00000047!: two sheets comprising one specimen). Distribution: — Cyanus pichleri subsp. extrarosularis is endemic to Kastamonu, Nigde, Kütahya, Bursa, Eskisehir, Konya and Icel Provinces, W, S and N Turkey (Fig. 6).
