China's Geostrategy in the Indo-Pacific zone

Nowadays the Indo-Pacific zone is the most important element of the overseas strategies and conceptions of China and the United States. The Chinese foreign policy in this region is determined by the Chinese leadership, which is to turn the country into a strong nautical power as a part of the integral composed idea of the Chinese nation’s successive revival. According to this idea, the nautical potential of China must match its integrated state capacity and national security and progressive development interests
