Purpose - This article presents the applications of game theory in management decision making. Methodology / approach - The methodology proposed in this article is based on the use of game theory for control and decision making in economics. Predictive methods are applied for urban transport planning, and their results contribute to measuring decision-making performance. Findings - Based on the experiments performed by the authors, an application on traffic prediction was developed and tested within the Department of Intelligent Transport Systems of UPB, for the planning of urban passenger transport.
