Previous records from Egypt. Alexandria (Hafez et al. 1987 as Tetrastichus ceroplastae), Mansoura (Daqahleya) ( 31 °01' 94 "N, 31 ° 22 ' 39 "E) (Ragab 1995 as T. ceroplastae), Fayoum (29 ° 18 ' 30 "N, 30 ° 50 ' 34 "E) (Gadallah et al. 2014). Distribution. Afrotropical, Australian and Palaearctic. Host records.
