A uterine fibroid is a widespread benign(non– cancerous) tumor of smooth muscle of the uterus. They are the most common pelvic tumor in women of childbearing age, and in at least 50% of affected womenare asymptomatic. The aim and objective of the study was to assess the quality of life of women’s with symptomatic uterine fibroids and to assess the knowledge regarding uterine fibroids among women. The study was conducted at Department of gynecology at Adesh Hospital, Bathinda. The duration of the study was 3 months. The study was started after getting approval from AIPBS, Departmental Research Committee Adesh University, Bathinda, Punjab.
