C. tecpin Morrone, Acosta and Gutiérrez, 2000. This species was first described from: El Potosí, Nuevo León (Type locality), hosts: Microtus sp. and Peromyscus difficilis. The present work has a new host locality record in Queretaro: El Pemoche, Landa de Matamoros, and the new host record in Oryzomys chapmani huastecae and Peromyscus furvus, this is the second time that we have a record for the species.
