More than a century after Blanchet and Schlumberger’s monograph on the coinage from Béarn and fifty years later after Françoise Dumas’s studies, this article attempts a new survey. No records or archives of the mints have been preserved, so it therefore relies on other archival documents, notably the decrees of the King’s Council, together with a corpus of coins that has been significantly enlarged since the previous studies.
