Asynchronous computer conferencing and video-teleconferencing were used to enhance learning and promote international collaboration among graduate nursing students in Canada and Norway. Case studies about health care administration topics provided the context for critical analysis and the ensuing dialogue among participants. Research data included responses to a 25-item questionnaire with seven open ended questions, evaluation feedback from a videoconference debriefing session, and written assignments. Students in both countries found the experience to be a unique and successful collaborative learning opportunity. They enjoyed the case study approach and the media.
