Une famille du Nord dans la Résistance.

We have known the German occupant since the 1914-1918 war and the Resistance of this period. In the 1939-1940 period we saw the Allied soldiers fight in the region. The conditions in which the Pétain regime established itself, its drift, but above all the creation of the Nord — Pas-de-Calais Forbidden Zone with its attachment to Brussels will lead us, in order to remain French, to wish for the victory by the British and thus by the Free French Forces. Committed to a lay state, republican and patriotic, my family will immediately join the Resistance. After their involvement in the undercover press, their entrance in the Pat O'Leary and Comète escape and intelligence networks, they will launch the O.C.M. in the Nord — Pas-de-Calais. After the visit of Colonel Passy, head of the B.C.R.A., to our home our involvement will be more selective until our arrest in July 1943.Nous connaissons l'occupant allemand depuis la guerre 14-18 et la Résistance de cette époque. De la période 39-40 nous avons vu les soldats alliés se battre dans la région. Les conditions d'implantation, la dérive du régime Pétain, mais surtout la création de la Zone Interdite du Nord — Pas-de-Calais avec son rattachement à Bruxelles vont faire que, pour rester français, nous allons souhaiter la victoire anglaise et donc celle des Forces Françaises Libres. Laïque, républicaine, patriote, ma famille entre immédiatement dans la Résistance. Après la presse clandestine, l'entrée dans les réseaux d'évasion Pat O'Leary et Comète, de renseignement, ce sera le lancement de l'O.C.M. dans le Nord — Pas-de-Calais. Après la visite du colonel Passy, chef du B.C.R.A. chez nous, notre rôle sera plus sélectif jusqu'à notre arrestation en juillet 1943.Wij kennen de Duitse bezetter sedert W.O.I en de toenmalige weerstand. De bezetting en het afglijden van Pétain, a maar vooral de oprichting van een verboden zone in het noorden en de aanhechting aan Brussel brengen mee dat wij, om Frans te kunnen blijven, de overwinning wensen van de Engelsen, en zodoende van de Forces Françaises libres. Mijn familie die onkerkelijk, repu- blikeins en vaderlandslievend is werkt dadelijk mee met de weerstand. Na de klandestiene pers, de deelname aan de vluchtroutes Pat O'Leary en Comète, de inlichtingsdienst, werken wij aan de start van de O.C.M. in het noorden.
