Newly appointed teachers often begin in the profession under difficult circumstances and their specific problems are not identified early enough and sufficiently to enable them to receive the necessary training and support. However, they can be assigned responsibilities to which they were not prepared and that they have decided to to assume in the place of more experienced colleagues.
