This article relies on part results of a current research (IUFM de Versailles). It wonders about the cognitive contribution of written and oral reformulations that came along with the writing of a «synthesis » in a geometry class in CM2 (1 1 years old). The initial hypothesis postulated that one can await from the reformulation process an improvement of the writings correlated with comprehension.
