<strong>The interrelationship between biblical theology and dogmatic theology</strong><br /> The question posed in this article is whether biblical theology has the task of providing dogmatic theology with material for the latter to accomplish its own task. The answer given is that dogmatic theology should not be performed without first acknowledging the results of biblical theology. Although biblical theology is primarily concerned with what the text meant, it can and should also indicate what it means today. In this regard it can provide dogmatic theology with the necessary material, however in many cases perhaps in diverse and not in systematised form.
