Des dispositifs didactiques et pédagogiques pour construire la lecture littéraire à I* écolo

The literary narrative has as yet been rarely examined from a didactic view-point. The need to problematize ail aspects of this question-from the wooliness of the Institution's position vis-a-vis this area of teaching to ordinary practices, which are dominated by referential, emotional, and formal readings of literary narratives-forms the basis for this INRP research. The purpose of the research is to determine what conditions are needed in order that a didactic method might be ascribed to the literary reading of a narrative at primary school (2nd and 3rd cycles : 6 to 10-year olds) ; more importantly, its purpose is to create and analyse devices which encourage the emergence, as well as the sharing, of interpretations. This paper is devoted to describing and analysing the devices which were implemented by the research team. It highlights the fact that the specificity of each text dictates the choice of the didactic treatment and determines the nature of the tasks given to the pupils, notably the ways in which the pupils (re)formulate their interpretations. This paper goes over or synthesizes the analyses of some members of the team.La didactique de la lecture littéraire à l'école est encore peu explorée. Du flou des discours institutionnels aux pratiques ordinaires dominées par une lecture référentielle, émotionnelle ou formelle, la nécessité de problématiser cette question est à l'origine du projet de recherche INRP « Littéraire ». L'objet de la recherche est de déterminer les conditions de la didactisation de la lecture littéraire du récit à l'école élémentaire (cycles 2 et 3) et, plus particulièrement, de construire et d'analyser des dispositifs favorisant l'émergence et le partage des interprétations. Cet article est consacré à la description et à l'analyse des dispositifs mis en œuvre par l'équipe. Il met en évidence le fait que la spécificité de chaque texte en oriente le traitement didactique, détermine la nature des tâches proposées aux élèves, en particulier les modes de (re)formulation à visée interprétative.Marcoin Danièle, Calame-Gippet Fabienne.
