Jots and tittles have meaning: The critical exegetical and theological contribution of Andries Breytenbach as Bible translator. The article is a reworked version of a paper presented at a commemoration ceremony in honour of the retired Reformed exegetes of the Department of Old Testament Studies of the Faculty of Theology at the University of Pretoria who have contributed immensely to translation projects of the South African Bible Society.
