Introduction: To investigate the relationship between student’s personality traits, academic expectations, burnout, and engagement in student pharmacists Methods: A 48-question survey was administered to students in the didactic portion of the curriculum. The survey consists of questions from the Maslach Scale for Burnout, the Utrecht scale for Engagement, the Five Factor Personality, and demographics. Results: Fifty Doctors of Pharmacy Students participated in the survey. Burnout was negatively correlated with extroversion and conscientiousness.
