The Galapagos Islands serve as a pristine location for measuring marine aerosol and particulate matter (PM2.5). To most effectively utilize the Galapagos as a sampling location, an interannual analysis of ambient PM2.5 levels and some of the factors influencing the variability of these PM2.5 concentrations has been conducted. This paper draws on three months of hourly PM2.5 averages collected from 2017-2019 as well as hourly meteorological data to study ambient PM2.5 variability in the Galapagos region.Bachelor of Scienc
