Dans cette thèse, nous étudions l’impact du statut social et numérique et celui de la diversité culturelle sur le développement de la catégorisation sociale et les attitudes intergroupes chez les enfants âgés de 3 à 6 ans. Pour étudier ces facteurs, nous utilisons des photographies représentant des enfants de trois groupes ethniques : Caucasiens, Noir-Africains et Maghrébins. Ces photographies sont utilisées dans une tâche libre de catégorisation sociale et une échelle de perception de distance culturelle. Les résultats montrent qu’il y a un effet de l’âge sur la catégorisation ethnique : plus les enfants sont âgés, plus ils réussissent à catégoriser les groupes ethniques.
