KEPEMIMPINAN GURU PAI DALAM MENGAKTUALISASIKAN AKHLAK KARIMAH SISWA KELAS IX DI SMP NEGERI 1 PONOROGO

Pembimbing: (1) Dr. Afiful Ikhwan, M.Pd.I; (2) Dr. Aldo Redho Syam, M.Pd.I The current educational methods in Indonesia cannot be ascertained with the position and competencies that exist because they have not been able to produce quality graduates that are relevant to current conditions. Because, currently there are still many cases that drag students as perpetrators of actions that are not commendable. Education needs to immediately make improvements, one of which is by actualizing good morals towards students and teachers. In this case, the teacher of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a role as a leader to shape the morals of students, especially when there are many problems of moral decline that are being passed by the current generation. This study aims to determine the leadership of PAI teachers in actualizing the morals of class IX students at SMPN 1 Ponorogo. The aims of this study were 1) to describe the morals of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo before obtaining the process of actualizing good morals; 2) to describe the leadership process of PAI teachers in actualizing the morals of class IX students; 3) to describe the results of the actualization of the morals of class IX students; 4) to analyze the supporting and inhibiting faktors. What is the PAI teacher's leadership process in actualizing the morals of class IX students. The method in this research is generic qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by interviewing 5 sources, observation, and documentation. The data that has been obtained is analyzed with the Miles and Hubberman model. The results of the study showed that the morals of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo before obtaining the actualization process of karimah morals were that students tended to be difficult to manage, often argued against teachers, mocked friends (bullying), didn't care, and often left prayer. The PAI teacher's leadership process includes being a role model for students, working with other fields such as counseling teachers and the entire school community, becoming a mentor. There has been a significant change in student morals which tend to be positive. However, there are still students who have less good morals who are handled with religious program strategies, approaches, guidance from BK teachers, and bringing in religious figures for non-Muslim students. Supporting faktors include adequate school facilities, religious programs and habituation, the cohesiveness of all elements of the school, and the rules. Inhibiting faktors are students themselves, family, environment and family which are minimized by approaches, collaboration with other fields and parents, as well as the parenting process.
