In order to determine the possible usefulness of stable isotope measurements on calcareous dinoflagellate cysts for paleoceanographic and paleoclimatic studies, we have produced oxygen and carbon isotope records of the species Pirumella krasheninnikovii (Bolli, H.M., 1974.
