Since the 60’s protest movements emerged including the farming community to roughly criticize the agricultural intensive model. The institutionalization of these movements and the profusion of alternative models through the French territory push, step by step, public authorities to take charge of the food question. Now a national measure, local food projects, has diffused through territories and local authorities. These projects are aiming to organize local food policies including every local food actor in order to collectively contribute to food systems sustainability.
