Beaumarchais et Amélie Houret : Une correspondance inédite

Renée Quinn : Beaumarchais' letters to Amélie Houret. After a brief introduction establishing the identity of Beaumarchais' correspondent, this article presents the text, published from the originals in the British Museum, of two letters, one from Beaumarchais to Amélie Houret, the other from her to him with his remarks in answer written between the lines. A third unpublished letter, from Mme de Beaumarchais to Amélie, is added as it sheds further light on her relationship with Beaumarchais.
