First developed in 2012, perovskite solar cells (PSC) have been attracting enormous attention for their high-power conversion efficiency, low manufacturing cost, easy annealing and fabricating techniques, good stability in ambient environments, and excellent overall performance. Skyrocketing from a PCE of 2.8% to 25.2%, PSCs are deemed as one of the most promising solar energy harvesters in the near future. However, due to the grain boundaries and some poor interface connections, there appear several defects that affect the efficiency and stability of PSCs.
