Questenberg a Sporck – oddělené a nezávislé barokní hudební subkultury na Moravě a v Čechách?

The long time exposed question whether there were any connections between the Italian opera productions in Kuks and Prague (Bohemia), and Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou (Moravia), i.e. between Counts Franz Anton von Sporck and Franz Adam Questenberg has been answered and solved. Based on the lately discovered and never studied or published source – the calendar journal by Tobias Anton Seeman, Sporck's Hofmeister and organist from the year 1727 - we can reconstruct the Sporck's summer trip to Vienna. Between April 26 and August 7, 1727 Sporck was striving to defend his statements in his old law cases directly in front of the Emperor taking the advantage from many meetings and visits with court officials and noblemen. During this time he kept sharing his publishing and music activities composed mainly of his Huberti and Bon Repos "arias" (songs) performances. At the same time he witnessed several plays, tafelmusik and concerts, among those the meetings with Questenberg and his musicians or sitting in his loge in Kärntnerthor Theater were the most important. He probably facilitated the contacts with Heinrich Rademin for Questenberg's opera libretti translations into German, and with Peter Conrad Monath as the Questenberg's opera scores deliverer. The two Italian opera subcultures does not look like strictly demarcate any more
