Chronologie et facteurs de l'urbanisation en Hongrie

The author proposes a general view of urbanization in Hungary in pre-statistical times, broadly speaking between the period following Hungary's liberation from the Turkish occupation and the end of the XIXth century. The ISO years of Turkish occupation radically transformed the traditional pattern of urbanization in Hungary, therefore the "before occupation" and "after occupation" situations have been elucidated by a short analysis of demographic, ethnic, economic and public health factors. A second major change was induced by the fait of the feodal System and by the successive capitaliste transformation, which once more modified the traditional pattern of urbanization in Hungary, the main factors of which are analyzed. The legal and administrative frameworks of urbanization in Hungary were only elaborated from the 1870s on, setting the foundations of a modem type of urbanization as existed prior to World War I.L'auteur donne une vue d'ensemble sur l'urbanisation en Hongrie à l'époque protostatistique, "grosso modo" entre la période après la libération de l'occupation turque et le tournant du XIXe et du XXe siècles. Les ISO années d'occupation turque ont bouleversé profondément l'urbanisation hongroise traditionnelle, c'est pourquoi les situations "ex ante" et "ex post" sont élucidées par une analyse sommaire des facteurs démographiques, ethniques, économiques et ceux de santé publique. Un deuxième grand changement s'est produit avec la chute du féodalisme et par la transformation capitaliste successive changeant de nouveau la typologie traditionnelle de l'urbanisation hongroise dont les facteurs principaux sont également analysés et dont l'ordre légal et administratif ne fut élaboré qu'à partir des années 1870, jetant les bases d'une urbanisation moderne comme elle existait avant la première guerre mondiale.Horvath Robert.
