The painted coatings discovered on the site of the Bishop's palace's gardens in Boulogne-sur-Mer in Room I of B barracks of the Classis Britanica encampment let us discern two sceneries, one of which, collapsed in one block facing the earth could berestored in a panel approximately 2 x 2.1 metres in area. This latter was after a first analysis interpreted as part of a ceiling because of the way it collapsed. The study of the composition makes it impossible to get a definitive opinion and giver the present state of our knowledge we prefer to keep to this identification its tentative character.
