A small bronze plate discovered in Templemars (Nord) shows a relief picturing a sacrificial march. From left to right, one can make out : two youths leading a bull, the goddess Roma, and two priests on the twisted part of the plate. The left- hand part is directly imitated from plate XXXIX of the Parthenon's Panathenaea. The goddess and the two priests are featured in a style very close to that of the Ara Pacis. This outstanding item can be dated to the beginning of the Empire and characterizes one stage of the Roman conquest of Gaul.Une petite plaque de bronze découverte à Templemars (Nord) présente un relief figurant un défilé sacrificiel.
