The material found in 1877, in the « T » cave in Walsort, belongs to the Middle Neolithic, up to now hardly represented in the Namur province. It consists mostly of a good hundred potsherds, among which three are rather plainly decorated, the fragment which gives its identity to the whole is decorated with little beads adorning the inside rim of the vase. Vessels decorated in such a manner belong to groups either belonging to the Michelsberg (Corbehem, Spiennes) of closely related (Menneville, Givry). Among the other objects, one must note a splinter of a polished tool, and among the bones found, some finger joints or second joints.
