« The Invention of Solitude » de Paul Auster ou l’acquisition du nom propre

In 1982 Paul Auster abandoned poetry and started a new career with the publication o/The Invention of Solitude, a strange volume mixing biography, autobiography and philosophical essay. This article focuses on the way Auster introduces himself in this curious book (which sounds as a real overture to his fiction) brilliantly using the themes of the Father, filiation, inheritance, debt and culpabilility.
