Purpose: The present study aimed to explore factors causing work-family conflicts and family-work conflicts among married female public bank managers in West Java, Indonesia. Theoretical framework: Variables such as family size, child's age, working hours, and level of social support are found to affect one's experience of work-family and family-work conflicts. These variables have been conceptualized as the antecedents of work-family and family-work conflicts.
