Abstract. - The configuration of the commercial pattern on the scale of the urban unity of Aix-Marseille, shows an imbalance between the suburban and the periphéric borders of the two agglomerations ; the latter are overequiped with hypermarkets and their commercial hypercenters appear relatively to stagnate. The dichotomy of localizations which derives from recent changes in the distribution systems, reflects a logic of profitability prospected by great commercial firms on the most attractive places for customers. It deletes the bearing of town planning policies. Such delocalization trends caracterizing commercial creations correspond to a general loosening movement of town activities ; they reopen the debate on the perception of centrality.Résumé. - La configuration de la trame commerciale à l'échelle de l'unité urbaine d'Aix-Marseille fait apparaître un déséquilibre entre les marges suburbaines et périphériques des deux agglomérations suréquipées en grandes surfaces et leurs hyper-centres commerçants en stagnation relative. Cette dichotomie des localisations dérivée des mutations récentes de l'appareil de distribution reflète la logique de rentabilisation recherchée par les grandes firmes commerciales sur les espaces de chalandises les plus attractifs et oblitère la portée des politiques urbaines d'aménagement commercial. Les tendances à la délocalisation des unités commerciales s'inscrivent dans un mouvement général de desserrement des activités urbaines et relancent le débat sur la perception de la centralité.Vaudour-Jouve Nicole.
