Abstract. - Neo-confucianism, irrigated rice cultivation, «clanic village» are, mostly since the 17e century, the three basic elements of the Corean agrarian civilisation. Of this «clanic village», survives today a strong solidarity between members of the clan, solidarity which is quite useful in the newly industrial and urban South Corean society.Résumé. — Le néo-confucianisme, la riziculture irriguée et le village clanique sont, surtout à partir du dix-septième siècle, les trois éléments qui fondent la civilisation agraire Coréenne.
