Abstract. - Better knowledge of geomorphologic processes through laboratory and field experiments and of land forms based on fields studies, allowed a (re)interpretation of quaternary deposits. Type cases from several regions in Belgium with different eolian covers are presented : (1) the dune station at Kalmthout and coversand and dune deposits ; (2) gravel lags in hilly regions ; (3) primary land-forms of late Weichselian age and the nature of loess sedimentation simulated in an aerodynamic wind tunnel, and (4) the importance of erosion under forest and after deforestation.Résumé. - Une meilleure connaissance des processus géomorphologiques, par le biais d'expériences de laboratoire et de terrain, et du modelé, a permis de (ré)interpréter...
