Exegesis and biblical history in Eusebius of Caesarea’s Ecclesiastical History (Book I) To speak about the beginnings of Christianity, Eusebius of Caesarea selects the most striking episodes in the life of Jesus-Christ and tells them with numerous references to the Old and New Testament. The aim of this article is to study the relationship between narration and exegesis.
