Introduction: Retroperitoneal tumors (TRP) are defined as those solid or cystic, benign or malignant tumors that develop in the retroperitoneal space from tissues such as lymphatic, nervous, vascular, muscular and connective, among others. Due to its location, it is difficult to think about the diagnosis on many occasions. Objective: to characterize retroperitoneal tumors whose diagnosis allows us to understand its incidence frequency in morbidity and mortality.
