Gender equality in Lithuanian family policy. The influence of conservative discourses on family, parental leave, and reconciling work and family life. This article analyses the meaning of gender equality in the family policy discourse in Lithuania since its entry into the European Union (EU). A critical policy frame analysis of official documents related to parental leave, reconciling remunerated and unremunerated work, and the concept of “ family” brings to light the influence of ideas that demonstrate a traditional view of male and female roles in the demographic policy.
